Is it possible to do both at the same time or transfer from one to the other?

Is it possible to become a stealth bomber pilot and espionage secret squirrel sniper at the same time or transfer from one to the other?

..... Asking for a friend.

I think that happens in books and movies, but I haven't heard of it IRL

From what I know (being raised in a air force family), the Air Force will occasionally take pilots out of their role in order to be a FAC in certain situations. I know a guy who flew f16s but was also FAC certified and I also know a guy who fly f16s but was pulled to be a FAC during the Gulf War. Obviously that was a long time ago, and I have no clue how its done now. Also, both of those guys were initially trained as pilots but then were FAC certified.

* My knowledge is extremely limited, but I've heard a little bit about the topic so I'd thought I'd comment.

Both F-16 and A-10 pilots can apply to be trained for FAC-A, which is Forward Air Control-Airborne vs. TACP which is on the ground with a unit. Usually after a first tour is when they would apply for the FAC-A training. The pilot still flies their jet, but their main function is to guide the other pilots in to attack to help out the ground unit. There are still occasional assignments for fighter pilots to do an ALO tour, but as was mentioned in the other thread this has become rare as the ALO is now it’s own career field.

If is something of a passion for you check out the Navy and Marine Corps. FACs are pilots who have gone to a special school and then go to a ground unit for support. Those who have done it said it’s extremelh rewarding and it gives a new perspective when they get back to flying.

I know the Marine Corps has them but the Navy can allow their pilots to do FAC as well?

First I would say finish UPT. Everyone wants to be in fighters but not everyone gets selected for it. The Academy, at least when I was there, was all "fighter, fighter, fighter." You can have an awesome career in a heavy doing great missions. Focus on that first.
