If memory serves, plebe days start around 0515 and end promptly around 2200. (As an aside, the detailers start earlier and end later!) The day is chock full of activities, but some of them are actually fun (e.g., sailing, shooting, even damage control). Some time is spent in nice air-conditioned classrooms taking validation tests. Some is spent being measured for uniforms. A lot is spent marching. It's REALLY busy but the time also flies by b/c you're busy all the time.
Sundays are more relaxed. There is definitely an opportunity for religious services. And I think there is a bit of "down time" in the afternoon -- but that may have changed.
The great thing is that your DD will be going through it all with those who will soon become her BFF -- in a literal sense. They will help her and she will help them.
I-Day is a very emotional time for parents. So is PPW, but in a great way! Remember, your journey isn't hers. You will be missing her at home. She will be incredibly busy with her new friends and colleagues.
