Admission decisions

I have been cleared medically as well as received a nomination all in December. However, my portal through USAFA still says “candidate”. Is there a set time when they will release the rejections? I’m trying to remain optimistic, but realistic. Can anyone help on the time frame? Percentages that have been notified of an appointment?

Ok so last year I got a TWE on Monday,April 17th. I would expect them to come out again during this same time frame.

Now, there were plenty of offers (appointments, prep school, Falcon Foundation) before and after this date (referring to April).

If I knew what I know now last year, I would go ahead and go full force with my plan B and here’s why....If you do this then you won’t be stuck trying to piece it together at the last minute. It will give you time to truly get excited about it. That way if a TWE comes your way it could potentially offset the disappointment.

If you’re really antsy you could try calling your admissions counselor but it is likely that they won’t give up any information.

All you can do is wait...that is the sour truth. Best of luck!
