I am a current ROTC cadet with aspirations of attending USMA. I have been denied twice now. I was wondering if anyone has heard of someone being accepted on their third time applying? I was told my ACT score held me back. I am currently studying to improve my score for the June exam.

I know of at least 2 cadets at MMI this year that recently received appointments on their 3rd try.

There worse they can say if you apply is no but there is always a chance they will say yes. However if they say no again, in two years you will be a 2nd Lt in the US Army. No different than if you have gone to West Point

My second cousins roommate was a third time success at the USNA.
I know my son got help from a tutor specifically for the ACT to get his score up, if that's an option it may help.
Wish you all the best and God speed.

Thanks for all the replies! I hate give up on things. I’m going to try again and focus on improving myself!

It took me three tries to get in to USMMA and it took me three tries to get out (6 year plan). What do they call me now? Graduate ... same as the valedictorian.
