No.
The total number includes projected offer of appointments and there are those still being finalized before they are sent. E.g. Principal nom getting cleared by medical.

I think because my DS was a bit on the low side for Math (22%) and top 35% class rank because he attends a very competitive DoD school in Germany where the lowest rank is LT Col. and equivalent at a joint forces base. That may have won him a spot at NAPS. He has already received a USMAPS appointment. That might be why his is taking so long. NAPS appointments (I hear) usually come in mid-April.

Because tomorrow (4/12/18) is the last admissions board. All final discussion and decision will be made then. Expect to hear from admissions afterwards. Best of luck!!

I belive it's because the board meets every Thursday, and tomorrow would be the last Thursday before 4/15.

Our DD received a call from her Congresswoman to inform her of her appointment on Monday 4/9/2018, her Portal Status remained CPR until the next day. She received her nomination in early January but no LOA.

I suspect that if your Congressperson wants to deliver the good news personally, their availability may add some delay to when the Portal Status is updated.
