Still CPR anyone in the same boat?

DD received 3 nominations: 2 senatorial and 1 congressman. Who would notify an admission?

All I know is that whatever decision we get, it’s a decision that’s well thought of and something that’s been greatly reviewed by the admissions committee.

I remember reading something that they’re being really meticulous with admissions this year because more people accepted their appointments last year than expected...

Good Luck everyone!
Wish us all the best!!

DS still CPR at 1700 boat school time. Having watched these boards for the last few months the encouragement has been amazing! These young men and women are all truly amazing young people with very bright futures ahead of them. God Bless them all and Good luck to all as we wait over the weekend!

CPR at 1730 in NY-23. I am also impressed by the encouragement. I find that it helps me as a parent just as much as it helps my son. Going into a weekend is tough with no answers. Good luck to all waiting and wondering!

Conditional offer of appointment...LOA, but need waiver. No news, nothing, as of 3:30 pacific.

Still CPR in CO-6. Congressional nom, but need waivers for eyes and color vision. Hoping that eventually updates into a yes or a no! They don't just leave people sitting in "pending waiver review" forever, I hope!?

My understanding is that you WILL find out one way or the other. When? That's the name of the boat every CPR is in... The USS When?

I am still CPR with 1st alternate nomination. The primary nom accepted his appointment. The advice I was given by MOC is to move ahead with "plan b" and if someone calls in May, or whenever, it will be a good thing. He said that we have never had anyone from our district make it from the national pool and our senators don't do duplicate nominations. I do know someone who missed the cut his first time and then was offered appointment his second time as 3rd alternate. He was called at the end of May. Never say never. But the smart move is "plan b".

It's gotta be tough at this stage. Very few spots left to fill, so many great candidates left, and the only way they can make decisions is based on what we look like "on paper". I assume the BGO reports get reviewed closely because that would seem to be the biggest differentiator. I would think that all of the applications would get blurry after awhile.

The question I have is how long before I do my pre-application for 2023? My BGO told me to apply ASAP but I didn't ask him if he meant ASAP after I get confirmation for my current application. I assume that's what he meant. And, there is time I guess. If we get into May and I'm still CPR I'll go back and ask again.

@tetradad - The waiver is not dependent upon the April 15th notification date. Your pins-and-needles wait is not over.

Do they do a mass TWE tomorrow? Are they still meeting? Thought TWEs would already know.

So far I have only seen one person receive a TWE today without an email, has anyone else heard anything?
