Yah you look strong! But will need to do more sit ups and push ups and higher test scores to be more competitive for the SAs. Work on your upper and lower body strengths. How’s your pull ups?

I can do 8 pull-ups from a dead hang (perfect form, no kipping) the stats I posted on pushups and sit-ups were in a min, not 2 minutes (you have 2 minutes for the CFA right?). Thank you for your kind words!!

Congrats to your DS! Hopefully I can clutch that scholarship like him!! Thank you :)

OP didn't state which ROTC scholarship. My experience is with NROTC. It seems to me that the Boards are much more competitive and much more selective.

I can only provide you with my DS stats to provide you with a comparison... My older DS was an ISR in 2013...my younger DS received a 4 year first Board 2017....
DS1 ACT 34 GPA 5.796 on 5.0 Class Rank 3 out of 530 Approximately 10 AP classes.
DS2 ACT 32 GPA 5.796 on 5.0 Class Rank 5 out of 520 Approximately 10 AP classes.
DS1 - 4 year Football, Baseball, Bowling. Varsity level 2 years each. Community Service - close to 500 hours throughout high school; many of which were not school requirements but on his own. NHS, Key Club, Interact Club to name a few.
DS2 - 4 year Football (3 year Varsity starter / 2 year captain), Baseball (brought up to Varsity during Soph year / 1 year captain), Bowling League since age 3. 1 year basketball. Link Crew - mentor and coach incoming freshman throughout school year to ensure they adjust to high school - 2 years; tutor of AP classes 1 year; NHS, Key Club to name a few. Community Service hours approximately 250 over 4 years of high school. Less CS hours than DS1 but more leadership and athletics than DS1. DS2 Also planned, coordinated and organizedthe first Annual Military Appreciation Day at our HS during a baseball game.
That's not everything but I think it gives an idea......academics is important, but alsofocus on leadership opportunities.

Also wanted to add that my son did Boys State last year and had some mentoring on his resume.
