Recently I received and a Type 7 4-year scholarship for AFROTC. I was medically disqualified for asthma/reactive airway disease/exercise induced bronchospasm, and was placed under medical waiver consideration. This past week I received an email that stated I was declined a medical waiver. Currently, I have been awaiting a referral from my family physician to a specialist for a pulmonary function test for the disqualification. If I were to take and successfully pass the test, would the pulmonary function test have a chance at reversing the medical waiver denial even though they have sent me their decision?

Yes, a good spirometry test has a very high chances of reversing the medical waiver denial.
