I am not the best at push-ups and I know that the max is 50 for females during the CFA, but I know that I won’t make it to 50. What is passing?

You only know you won't make it to 50 if you don't train hard and give it everything you've got. It isn't necessary to max out the CFA but do your absolute best and get as close as possible. USNA does not say what the minimum CFA passing scores are, but if I recall correctly they might have published the average scores somewhere at some point. There's also lots of information about training to do more pushups online if you do some searching.

The published average scores from USNA are about 20 years old (seriously) so, even if you found them, I would not consider them valid/useful today. Do your best. If you're far short of 50, you can retake the test up through Jan. 31.

Just keep doing pushups... every day.... multiple times a day.

That is the strange thing about push ups and pull ups.
You can lift weights all you want, but the only way to get better at push ups and pull ups is to do more push ups and pull ups.
