SCHOLARSHIP AROTC TO USNA?

I am a rising Senior, and am torn between USNA & AROTC (only rotc offered locally). Assuming I earn the 4 year AROTC Scholarship, can I still reapply (and possibly earn admission to) USNA within my first 2 years of being on the AROTC scholarship at the college aforementioned, or does the AROTC Contract void it completely? I already read AR 145-1 and I couldn’t gather Academy-specific information. Any responses help and are greatly appreciated.

Yes you can reapply to USNA after earning an AROTC scholarship. I believe the one downside would be you won’t be able to use AROTC as a mom source to USNA. Someone can hopefully correct that if I am wrong. If your goal is to be a Naval Officer, why not apply to NROTC? I understand you said locally there is not, but research the thread area that lists schools that offers Room & Board discounts to scholarship Cadets/Mids. This would cover tuition and then Room & Board.
