New Supe

Imagine how busy the garrison and tenant organizations on WP will be on Monday supporting the assumption of command ceremony and R-day.
 
The new Supe is from Alexandria, Va. The most recent first captain is from Fairfax, Va and two first captains ago is a former student and football player of mine from Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria.

I teach in Fairfax County schools so by association will take credit for these Soldier's accomplishments.

A solid guy almost like his predecessor...we'll see in the near future. He gave a decent opening briefing at the 3PM R-Day briefing to the parent crowd. The 1st Captain was, by far, the most charismatic in her presentation and Q&A!
 
Jess isn't First Captain yet...she's Queen of Beast. Likely it will be her or CFT leader or Beast 2 leader. Announcement later this summer.

Agreed. I am excited to know that my 2022 DD is going to be working with young women like Cadet Maddux (sp?) and in a system that produces young women like her. She was darn impressive.
 
When Cadet Maddox was answering the boodle box theft question and told the concerned mom that her kid did not need gummy bears they were in the Army now I almost spit out my coffee!

Just reading this now, but I'm with NovaGrad!! Cadet Maddox was awesome.....Handled that question with some humor followed by no nonsense.......First asked if the mother could include some skittles as the cadre like them!! and then gave her the advice that Nova mentions! After a really long, hot , emotional day, it was a welcome bit of humor.
