ACT Scores?

I have sent my ACT scores to the academy twice, however, they still do not appear in my application.

Is there any larger issue that could prevent my scores from sending?

The College Board sends ACT scores to USNA on a CD-ROM disk.

After they get the disk, (from what I have been told) there is no automated way to get the data into the database.
Which means that some poor stash Ensign probably keys in the data for a hundred or so candidates at a time,
checks them, and then updates the database for the Candidate Information System.

If it has been a month, feel free to send an EMail to your Admissions Counselor, politely asking
if your ACT scores were received and just haven't updated in the CIS yet.

Also make sure you are actually having college board send the scores, and not mailing a copy yourself. They only accept scores directly from the testing company, not from you or your school.

It usually takes 2-3 weeks for scores to appear. My ACT scores appeared after 3 weeks. Call admissions, and if it gets to 4 weeks with no scores, email your admissions counselor.

Nope. There are gov't civilian staffers and IT people who are doing this

I don't know if they specifically do this task, but during the summer admissions do have stash ENS/2nd Lt's that help with grunt work like this.

Yes they do as they have done for many decades but they are not generally used to take on the work of civilian admin and IT people who actually process/handle the data.

Son had to call ACT and get the disc number as his scores didn’t appear after 9 weeks. He sent the disc number via email to his awesome admissions rep and within a week they were on the portal. His region had a change in rep and the change is refreshing from the previous for his brother 2 years ago. Emails never responded to then vs super time response now. Yay!

My April test scores appeared sometime in June. I called ACT and got the disc number and sent them to my admissions rep as well.
