basketball throw: 75 feet

Pullups: 18 (MAX)

Shuttle Run: 8.3

Sit-ups: 85

Push-ups: 70

Mile: 6:45

I’m really worried about my mile time because I usually finish around 6:00 flat. I was exhausted by the time I started, and the heat index was 98. Am I ok?

Those numbers will definitely give you a passing score. I wouldn’t be worried about it

Agreed. That will pass just fine. There is room for improvement. Don't stress about the mile time for now.
Keep working on it, though. If you're not used to altitude, that mile time will be about 30 seconds slower at USAFA.

What that CFA says is you're "in shape". Stay that way at the minimum, but endeavor to get better.
The physical shape you're in when you get there, will make all the difference between it being an "adventure" as opposed to an "ordeal".

So if you pass the CFA, do you get the full 10 points onto your WCS or do they grade it on a scale and then convert it into a 10 point scale? (Since CFA is 10% of WCS) Would they ever compare scores between two candidates to see who gets an appointment?

I have no idea what happens behind closed doors with the Admissions Board.
With USNA, they treat the process like it's TS/SCI, NOFORN, Code Word stuff. :D

My guess (and that's all it is) is that the CFA is pass/fail.
If they have a point scale (and I don't know if they do) for the physical aspect of being triple-qualified, you're probably in the upper 20%.
Medical qualification is also (more than likely) a pass/fail thing.

It's the Academic/Activities qualifications that appear to be the elements that can make an application stand out.

That part of the trifecta seems to include a lot more parameters (GPA, HS class standing, ACT/SAT scores, AP classes you excelled in, community service, leadership, teacher recommendations, etc.)

Just compare your scores to the hundreds of other CFA scores posted on this site.

See how easy that was?

Do you see kids offered appointments with 7 or even 8 minute miles? With shuttle runs of 10 seconds? 12?

Do your own comparison, and see where you need to improve (if improvement is necessary or even possible).

You should always strive to score your absolute BEST, whether on the CFA or GPA, class rank, etc.

As ChristCorp and others here will tell you regarding the SAT: Why are you aiming for 700? AIM for 800/800/800 and a ACT 36.

As far as CFA practicing goes: your scores will improve if you practice the CFA, in order of event, TIMED (well, eventually timed. Just practice in order of event to start). You are likely to find yourself exhausted and doing poorly on the mile if you do not follow the advice of this old mother.
