AROTC Board Ready?

It is my understanding that if you are currently in the "boarded"status then once decisions are made for this first board your status will either change to "winner" or to "boarded/under consideration" (meaning you are still boarded but did not get awarded a scholarship by the first board).

That might be. I think I remember that being mentioned last year. When my daughter applied (a few years ago), if it didn't say "winner" nothing happened at all. It just remained boarded. There should be in the portal a list of the different status options, if there is a new one adding under consideration, then that is definitely an option.
 
I didn't receive any email from AROTC but my status is Boarded and the Alert on the dashboard says 'The High School Scholarship Selection Board that convened on 10/15/18 is complete. Applicants that were reviewed during this Board should now see his/her Selection Status as “Boarded”. Generally it takes about 4 weeks to process these results. Once the results are processed, those selected will see their status changed to “winner’ and those not selected will see their status changed to ‘Boarded/Under Consideration”. No one will be able to give you an updated status until these statuses change on your online application. Our target notification date in no later than 11/02/18."

I am waiting for NROTC as my status still shows "no decision has been made".

My AFROTC status says " your scholarship application status is "Eligible".Your AFROTC Scholarship interview has been recieved and processed. Your application will meet the next available selection board, scheduled December 10. Results will be released on or about December 23. "

Just hoping one of these to click.

Just to know.... NROTC might stay like that until April even if the board has seen it. They are not great about updating their site. You will receive an (email?) notification if you have received a scholarship or are out of the running. Again, they may not be until April either.
 
Well, I am boarded/under consideration...Hoping for the next two boards will bring a scholarship.
 
Boy that was fast!

Congratulations to those that got good news today. For those that are rolled over remember, most of the scholarships awarded come from the 2nd and 3rd Boards, hang in there.
 
Hang in there! I bet you all will get good news soon or with next boards! Think about...All in this group are the early birds, dedicated, focused , and wanted it. Things usually pan out for the hardworkers with drive. So I put my bet on the folks in this forum !!
 
DS was not awarded this board. Anyone have suggestions to improve his chances at the next board?
