Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you for your time spent reading and responding to this. I greatly appreciate it!

Ok, so I was wanting to hear everyone's opinion on my chances of admission into USAFA for the class of 2023. I applied last year but unfortunately did not get in nor receive a sponsorship. Regardless, I researched and pursued the best academy prep schools and was admitted into Greystone. Statistically, I have a 100% chance of receiving a nomination and a 75% chance of receiving an appointment. I recently had my personal best CFA submitted. I got:
65 ft BBall
14 Pull-Ups
8.8 Shuttle-Run
Maxed Sit-ups
Maxed Push-ups
6:24 Mile-Time

I also improved my SAT/ACT super scores from last year. I got:
SAT:
Comp: 1450
Math: 780
Reading/Writing: 670
ACT:
Comp: 33
Math: 36
English: 34
Science: 34
Reading: 26

I am also on track to having a 4.0 GPA at my university at the end of the semester...
I am DoDMERB Qualified and am currently enrolled in Army ROTC.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this and determine my chances. Please be brutally honest with me. If there is something I need to improve, I will do everything in my power to improve it!

Also, if there is any additional information you would like to request, I'd be glad to put it in...

Congratulations on your improvements & pressing on! That CFA is really hard. How are your leadership & EC's looking? What will make your application stand out? It's going to come down to who is your competition that lives in your state & district. If they offered you Prep would you take it?

At this point, it’s likely too late to do anything substantive about your credentials. Other than finishing the semester strong and nailing your finals. Presumably you’ve taken plebe-type courses — calculus, chemistry, English — to show you’re capable of excelling in that curriculum. Beyond that, rest easy, hopefully knowing that you did your absolute best (you did, right?). Best wishes.

Last year I wasnt strong in leadership, but this year I'm the academic coordinator and honor code representative of my prep-school, so leadership is definitely a lot better. I'm was a caregiver for an ALS patient over the past 4 years... Didn't get me in last time but it certainly will help. I hope that just the fact that I'm at a prep school and giving it my all will improve my application. I live in a petty competitive district, but a got a nom last year, so I hope to get one or more this year as well.

If I was givin prep I would take it, but would definitely much rather prefer the academy. I don't think the extra year of additional prep would benefit me... I'm already giving my absolute best and know that I'm ready to attend the academy.

What did the advisors at Greystone say? Don't they have an academy prep program? They should know your chances much better than anyone here.

They said I have a good shot, especially with my 36 in math. I just wanted an opinion from multiple people since this is so important to me.

Thanks for responding!
