if you get a nomination will you get a letter in snail mail or just a email? And would you get a letter if you wasn’t selected?
 
WI 2018 and 2019 both received letters and no email.

I also believe letters are sent if you do not secure a nom as well.

Could be different for different states.
 
How long after your interview will it be before you know if you received nomination or not?
 
@Frosty5, slates are due to the SAs on 1/31. So you could hear a few days after your interview, but you could also hear in January. All MOCs handle it a bit differently. Patience is key.
 
Son received an email from one of Senator Cornyn's staffers just before Christmas. It was followed by a snail mail letter about a week later. He then got no letters from Sen Cruz and his Rep who mentioned Sen Cornyn's nom. All in the same Texas political party...coordinated. I've heard many don't coordinate across party lines however.
