DodMerb not open

We have completed everything for the usma application with the exception of the CFA which will be complete in a couple of days. The medical evaluation is not yet open, however. We are concerned about getting it completed in time. Does this section of the application typically open after the CFA?
 
I was able to schedule my DODMERB examination before I ever took the CFA. I don’t believe that my case is out of the ordinary. I would assume that this is the case for most applicants.
 
Safest bet would to have your DS or DD email their liaison officer and ask directly. They are your best point of communication. Usually, the DoDMERB file is supposed to open after a good chunk of the application has been filled out. Best of Luck to both of yall!
 
My DS wrote the RC who said his ACT scores might be preventing the DoDMERB file from opening. This is a bit confusing, because he received the non-commital letter which we believe indicated that he would be able to compete - in other words complete the entire application. I would have thought if his ACT scores were too low he would have received the non-competitive letter? He will complete the CFA tomorrow - I guess we will see what happens then.

What is a non-commital lette?
 
I personally texted my admissions officer on a few occasions to make sure I could access certain parts of my application. He always told me how it was possible a mistake or maybe told me that they were overwhelmed, but always had the I.T. guys grant me access.

He recieved a non-commital letter outlining next steps to the application - this was posted on his portal after his initial evaluation was completed
 
DS finished and sent his essays on Sunday. Today he got Dobmerb “qualified”. He is still to take CFA, the next two weeks.
 
Thank you for all the replies. I wrote the technician for our region and he immediately opened the medical portion. One step closer
