A few weeks ago I received a LOA and the two conditions it stated were that I need a nomination and continued academic excellence. I looked at my portal today and my nomination changed from no to yes. I have not heard anything from my congressman or senator though, how do I know which MOC gave me a nomination?

I received notification via mail from my congressman that I received a nomination and then 24-48 hours later my portal updated from “no” to “yes”. Figured you’d be the first one that they would notify of a nomination. Congrats on the LOA and nomination. We will probably get to know each other next year!

Congratulations Wrestling 160. Each member of Congress has his or her own method and timing of notifying candidates. You will probably receive a phone call or letter in the next few days from your nominating source. Now stay in shape and keep those grades up.

Congratulations! Last year my son received two nominations. He received a phone call from our Congressman’s office and a letter from our Senator letting him know about his nominations.

DS portal changed from no to yes. He got 2 interview 2 weeks a part. Then received the nomination letters a week later. The academy knows who gave you the nomination.
