How long does it usually take for Concorde to review a case and forward it to dodmerb?

Currently Your Case is "Complete"

Your DoDMETS case is Complete as of 11/1/2018.

What does "Complete" mean?

You have appointment dates in the system, which is where you want to be. As soon as we begin receiving your exams, this status will change.

Your application will be automatically changed to a status of pending as of 11/##/2018 if your scheduled medical examination records have not been submitted to DoDMERB by your authorized providers.
This is ten (10) calendar days after the date of your latest scheduled exam (10/##/2018).

We have a complete set of all of your examination records and they are currently being reviewed by a Concorde case manager.

The status has been completed and on hold for 12 days now and when I called Concorde they said a doctor was missing a paper and that I just need to wait. Is this normal?

I received a letter on my account about a knee surgery that I never had. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

I’d email the DoDMERB help desk at: usaf.dodmerb.helpdesk@mail.mil

Or maybe call your technician...

anymore info, or are you still waiting?

my son went to his tests on 12-12-18 through Concorde...status is showing COMPLETE but nothing else.

It says that it would change to pending once they have sent it to DODMERB, but he keeps checking on the DODMERB site and nothing but crickets....

All the while his ROO has been on him about his status.

It is just a tad bit frustrating at this point, but as a parent, I feel for him just continuing to wait and have to fend off multiple calls in the mean time.

Totally understand your frustration. Daughter's exams were 11/20, Concorde had "on hold" for a while (verifying info), and this week, made it to DodMERB and under review. The DodMERB site has a chart after you log in, that shows dates exams received, dates entered, etc. She did follow up with emails asking about the progress.

I thought I would follow up on my post. My file changed to closed on Concorde's system. I had a remedial to complete for DoDMERB but am now qualified.

We had a unique situation with my son. On box 85 (physician's or examiner's comments), DODMERB reported that it was incomplete or illegible, so it was put into Remedial status. We called Concorde, and they saw that the examiner had notes on a different paper to be included with what they sent to DODMERB. They allegedly forwarded the right paperwork to DODMERB, but it's been 10 days and no status change from anyone yet.

My son had a small broken bone in his foot in eight grade - landed on it wrong in a basketball game. No surgery required, freak accident, was back playing after a month off. Has been a three sport athlete ever since, including basketball, tennis and cross country. No issues.

When he filled out his medical survey, he answered no to the surgery question. After he submitted it, he realized it also was asking about broken bones.

When he went to the doctor’s exam, he told the doctor up front about his mistake and asked her how to correct it. She said she would correct it. He passed that portion of the medical - doctor said he was in exceptional good health and condition.

When submitted, my son got an email about the discrepancy - they have wanted an answer ASAP. He told them this story.

Nothing changed with his medical for weeks. So he contacted the medical person ... she told him to print the email, sign and date it, and send a pdf back.

I think it’s all taken care of. His status now has medical reviewed (twice).

I think they are so busy that it takes them awhile to get everything done. We want out stuff done today. They have thousands of people the same way.

Best thing to do is stay on top of it all.

This wait is nerve wracking. I hate to think we go to April and find out no waiver is going to be given.
