I hate to hear that about your ALO. Unfortunately, my DS has had the same experience. He has sent multiple e-mails after the one call he had with him 3 months ago and another notifying him of his LOA two weeks ago. Complete radio silence. Frustrating to say the least and 100% opposite of his experience with the USCGA and USNA.

My DD has the exact same thing. Call from rep notifying of principal nomination. It showed up in her portal a few days later, then another call from our rep about 10 days later saying she would be getting an offer of appointment. 3 or 4 days later her offer showed up on her portal.

That’s awesome! Congrats to her! Hopefully the process will go as quickly and smoothly for my daughter after the holidays. Since we never hear from her ALO these forums are all we really have to go on.

Wow sorry to hear that. My daughter has never even gotten a call and yeah, it’s been months since she’s heard anything from her. So disappointing and aggravating. My daughters first and only choice is USAFA so we’re not dealing with any other ALO’s but Glad you’re having a better experience elsewhere!
 
DS got his "thanks for you interest in national security" no-nom letter from Cruz in Texas. Took a while to get here, but it got here. Nothing from Cornyn but has a Presidential and a nom from Tx-13

My DS heard from VA senators some time ago. I actually saw someone from VA that was on the appointment list. So, pretty sure they have come out. I'm not sure why you didn't hear from them either way. Good luck!

Just received snail mail denial from Kaine when I returned from family trip last night. Nothing from Warner. I have a congressional nom but from a tough district. In Kaines letter it does explicitly say they communicate to not double up Noms but was hoping anyway just to increase chances. Did your DS hear from Warner? Best of luck!

Congrats. My DS just got a call from our Congressman with a nom for USMA. I understand the senators are coordinating and won’t release until end of the Jan, but a nom is a nom. Best wishes on securing an appointment.

Congrats to him! I interviewed with Markey but it's been radio silent for Warren. A nom is a nom!

My DS heard from Warner as well but it was some time after Kaine I would say more than two weeks. We then heard from 11th district and got a nomination from him around Dec 10.My DS actually was appointed to the Prep School. Which I think is a perfect option for him. If you have a congressional nom that's great !!! A nomination is a nomination and you only need one! None the less I hope you hear back soon and best of luck!! I did hear that they do communicate and usually try to spread the wealth.
