How Long Until We Hear From Admissions?

Thank you for the replies and for the excellent advice. DD has already been accepted to a couple of universities and has other apps pending. She also has competitive nominations to USAFA and USNA from her local congressman, but no appointments yet. Still waiting on senatorial nominations.
So, the virtue building will continue...
 
For other early action applicants:

Has anyone's "Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board Review Complete" checkbox in the application portal been checked off? Mine is not; just curious as to what that could mean, if it means anything.
 
@MuniMan24 It means it's not checked. You shouldn't try to read anything, into anything, in this process. You would have more luck cutting open a chicken and reading it's entrails.

Last year in early decision it only changed when your decision letter was posted. Instead of a chicken, I recommend cutting open a gamecock - I hear their entrails are easier to read.

Where in the application is the "Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board Review Complete"? Haven't seen that in my DS portal.

Be very careful of the spurs if you go that route.
 
I was interviewed as well. They sent a representative to my high school. On another note, I’ve been on a family trip to the northeast and stopped by the USCG Academy today. Great time walking the campus. Did stop into the admissions office. Despite being a partial government shut down, staff members were actively working on the final EA submittals to get them out by the 15th. Only a few weeks left!!!
 
My DS received an email today to confirm his major. He messed up in drop down and choose different major what he intended in the essay 1. He applied EA. I was just wondering what we can translate from this email? Is it a bad sign as he messed up his intended major in the application. Thank you

I would assume, since they reached out to clarify, that they are correcting his major in the portal. It means no more than that and no less than that.

It is never easy to wait but I think it will be well worth the wait. I attended the AIM program and loved the experience. We have put our best foot forward and now we must wait the admission boards decision. I have talked to my admission officer and tried to keep everyone updated on my status. All we can do is wait and see.
 
Is it possible for the results to come out earlier than the 15th?
