Looks like Senator Burr in NC has sent out interview date for Saturday according to above posts. DD hasn’t heard anything from his office. Wishing you all good luck in 2 days! Go get it!
We have also heard nothing from Burr (other than an initial acknowledgement). DS has a nom from MOC but it does seem like Burr would at least notify people who don't get an interview (?).

Son was contacted via email from Feinstein on Jan 2. Feinstein's office is coordinating nominations with Congressional offices.
Interesting, so the coordination is happening. Did your DS receive a nom from both Senator Feinstein and your congressperson?
No, son only applied to one academy, so they don't want to duplicate/waste nominations. If he had applied to several academies, perhaps he would have received both, but who knows.

Well congratulations to him and you nonetheless!!
And thank you for the insight.

@ServiceBrat, that's positive development to see some coordination happening. Good Luck to your son and to family.
I was wondering, are you in SoCal or NorCal, what's your district?
Our son is still waiting to hear from senator Harris.

We heard zip from Burr too. DS already received a nom no possibly that’s why but we thought it odd to not contact him at all.

That’s what I was wondering too...if the candidate already has a nom, Burrs office just doesn’t contact them at all? Bummer as we know how a NOM doesn’t guarantee anything so more than one NOM would mean greater chance.

Tillis at least did not coordinate with the MOCs. I doubt Burr did either. It seems more likely Tillis and Burr might coordinate with each other, but I don't feel terribly confident that's what's going on. I hope no one got left in the lurch by the chaos in our 9th district. :(

Been watching this thread hoping for signs of info on NY so I thought I would post for any others who are doing the same. DD just got a no-nom letter via usps from Senator Gillibrand. We are still hopeful for one from either Schumer or our district representative. :)

Gillibrand called my son telling him he got a nom before Christmas.

I also just got the no-nom letter from Senator Gillibrand. Haven’t heard from Schumer yet either. Good luck to your DD!

We're in SoCal but I'd rather not say our district. Son never heard from Harris either but since some interviewed with her office in December, I'm assuming my son was not chosen by Harris as a possible nominee.

DD received noms from District Rep and Gillibrand before Christmas, did not get an interview with Schumer. Just hopeful waiting now. Good luck to everyone.

Good luck to your DD as well and congratulations to her on the nominations! Are you comfortable sharing if you are district 18?

DS interviewed with Burr this am. I have no idea if his office coordinated with Tillis or not.

There was a sign in sheet for each academy as the candidates came in. There were about 25 on each sheet. We did find out that Burr has two slots open for the USAFA this year so will be submitting two slates. The interviews were one on one with a rep instead of a panel like Tillis. DS thinks he did well. We will see in a few weeks.

I got an email December 21st from Gillibrand's Deputy Director saying I received a nomination and it is posted on my portal, but no call and no letter. Did you receive a letter? My local MOC sent a letter as well. Just curious.
