Just out of curiosity,

I know for Army and Air Force campus-based scholarships, they are a bit more complicated to transfer since the funds were given through the colleges to the students.

However, for NROTC, the scholarships are still awarded on a "national" level. So my question is, if the 3-year and 2-year scholarships are still considered nationally awarded, are they transferable to other schools?

Thank you.

NROTC scholarships are tied to the school. I believe there is a process to TRY to transfer a scholarship to another school but it's no guarantee (and I could be wrong about this).

Back in the day both schools has to agree and big navy had to concur. I remember one guy did it, I think one of his parents had some really awful disease and he was allowed to move to a unit closer to home.

kinnem is correct as usual. There is a process and the NROTC units are aware of it. Two of the most important factors that are considered by the approval authority - will the transfer delay the graduation/commission date and how much more is the new school going to cost?
