Boarded/Under Consideration after first day of board?

My DD was considered in the first board in Oct. She got a message saying target date for results to be released within 2 weeks. However, the results were posted the first Thursday after the completion of the board. So if the most recent board met 7-11 Jan, then the equivalent date for the results to be released should be 17 Jan. However, I wouldn't put any money on release dates because, as mentioned numerous times in SAF, things vary a lot with Cadet Command.

My son was told today by a rep from his top choice school he should hear something by Friday.

There will be far more scholarships offered by the second board then were offered on the first. The larger number probably takes a bit longer to get into the system. If all goes smoothly it should not be that much longer before the results are updated.

It says on the website that it won’t be until around February 1st

The results from the last board were projected for November 2nd and they came out the first Thursday after the completion of the board. Some are speculating that the same thing will occur this round. I'm not sure if this will happen, there tends to be more people that apply for the second board.

My DD got a 4-yr from the first board. She was notified the first Thursday after the board was completed.

I think it was around noon or 1500 she texted me that Thursday she was a scholarship winner. It definitely wasn’t as late as 1700.

But this also has to depend upon which area of the country you live in.

Why Tuesday? It says on the website by Feb 1st, and usually the ROOs know a week in advance. Clarkson ROTC ROO says no results have been given to ROOs yet, so it will likely be at least another week.
