Typical Foundation chronology to USNA

Greetings!

DD is starting semester #2 of her Foundation-sponsored year. She’s finished the 2023 application and submitted all required docs.

I don’t know how different her path is from regular applicants. What should be the expected events/milestones from this point forward? Thanks.

Eventually an appointment, finish school, enjoy a few weeks off, report to I day as a more mature, prepared Plebe!

In all honesty her path is different but doesn’t follow too much of a diversion. She actually has more access to status with Capt Wallace.

Foundation students usually get their appointments in the April-ish timeline. They are usually later in the admissions cycle. As you know Capt Wallace is top notch and will keep them informed. Biggest thing is stay out of trouble, keep the grades up and stay in shape and the appointment will come!
