To start things off, I am a current candidate for USNA 2023. I am from Guam, USA and I plan on attending USNA. I recently received my congressional nomination to USNA which was a blessing. I am currently having problems with my application noting that the deadline is coming (January 31).
I am currently missing my transcript, BGO interview and my DoDMERB status.
1.) Transcript:
I finished my academic information and activities information with my guidance counselor. I assumed that it informed her of sending my official transcript to the USNA. I might be wrong and I apologize for that. I resolved the problem ASAP and I am planning to send my official transcript via mail on Tuesday because there are no classes on Monday.
2.) BGO interview:
I will be doing my BGO interview tomorrow January 21. I have already scheduled this interview and I will be attending it.
3.) DoDMERB status:
My DoDMERB is absolutely late. I took my eye test, medical checkup, and ear test all in the first week of January. I know that results will take a month or so to be finalized. I asked all my doctors about my results, and they said I had no problem with anything (vision, hearing, allergies etc.) I am cleared off of everything from my doctors; although, I am still waiting for DoDMERB's status on my medical exams.
The bottom line question:
Will I be able to finish my USNA application on time regarding my transcript missing and DoDMERB status still missing?
I am worried because USNA is my top school and will do anything to get in. I know that I made a lot of mistakes throughout my application process. Past is past and I am ready to move on as in create more ways into getting to USNA. I won't give up until I get in there. I will do my best to finish this before the deadline, but I am worried that these two will hold me back from entering the admissions cycle this year. I hope my application won't be rejected just because of this. I came a long way. I am praying for the best.
If you have any concerns/suggestions/tips or any comments regarding this matter, feel free to say it down below. I will take any help at this moment. Thank you all!
