VMI in Winter

In all seriousness VMI has invested in their infrastructure. Part of Barracks is old, Old Barracks was built in the mid 1800s —1857. “New Barracks” in 1948-49. 3rd Barracks in 2009. Gen Peay, the VMI Superintendent, and the VMI Alumni, have made restoration a priority. I think the VMI heat plant keeps the Barracks plenty warm — of course there is always the opportunity for physical exercise...

In 2014 my Rat took an extra blanket back after Christmas break...his rack was under the closed window and he had been waking up with snow on his bed!
