What is the number of appointments per state to West Point?

Does anyone know how many from each state can be at West Point each year? Or where could this be found?

I doubt this information exits. I would expect even USMA can't tell you because there are too many variables. The state from which the nomination came is not necessarily the state where the person resides (active duty, prep school). Categories of people can be charged against other nomination sources (recruited athletes, Presidential, MOH dependents). Theoretically if the first 150 on the NWL were from the same state, you could have 150 from that state. The math simply isn't that simple.

Each MOC can have up to 5 constituents attending a SA at one time.

Sort of. The year my 2012 was accepted, 9/10 of his MOC's nominees were offered appointments. Some were charged to him, others were NWL, recruited athlete, etc. Only 1 or 2 per year (depending on the rotation) are actually charged to him.

Each MOC can have 5 nominations/appointees charged to him/her at one time. There is no limit to the number of constituents. Could have any number of constituents charged to other nomination sources.

Agree with the 2 above posts. I amend my post to: Each MOC can have up to 5 constituents attending a SA charged to them at one time. To paraphrase @cptenca, Theoretically, if the first 150 on the NWL were from the same congressional district, you could have 150 from that district.

But there is also no mandated limit on the state of origin for the Presidential appointments and for the appointments from active duty--so you can have 15 kids from the Fort Bragg area and a hundred kids from the DC area and California.
