First off, I would like to thank everyone in this forum for helping me decide where I will be for the next 9-15 years of my life. I would like to thank the parents, cadets, current candidates and future candidates for the never ending support and advice. I learned a lot from this forum and saw a lot of people's acceptances and rejections. I decided that I will be attending the United States Naval Academy Class of 2023. I had to consider my options and test the waters, but my heart ended up with the Naval Academy. I had a few ups and downs in my life just for me to make a statement. I'm not a typical kid who grew up on U.S. soil. I was given an opportunity when I came to Guam from the Philippines. I knew that aviation was my goal and the Navy was always been there since I was a kid.

For future candidates and parents, I hope that you maximize this forum to its full potential. I learned a lot from this forum during my application process. I had nobody else to help me, so I resulted in the serviceacademyforums and it truly payed off.

Thank you all so much!

Go Navy! Beat Army!

See you all on June!

Best of luck CSG!

CSG,
Congratulations and best of luck at USNA.

We are pleased that SAF has been of help to you. Please come back and answer questions after you are done with plebe summer.

This forum works because cadets and mids return to "give back" to the community.

I second that. SAF is indeed a valuable resource. We’re happy OP has found his path like many did before him. Fraternity with one Academy has its special place. For me, it has been with West Point. Now I embrace the Naval Academy fellowship and family fraternity thanks to my DS. For OP, he wants to be a Pilot and you embraced the Naval Academy. You chose wisely. Good luck and chase your dreams and get your wings! We celebrate with you!

For sure! As soon as I'm settled and everything in the academy, then I'll be glad to help out the future candidates! This forum really helped me a lot, so I would love to give back to the ones that really need help.

West Point had its place in my heart, but I really had to think about my career. My desired career is to be a pilot or NFO (anything related with planes); being a fighter pilot has always been the main goal.
