As MidCakePa said - no one here knows. There are too many variables anyway to even make a guess. Not all appointments made have been answered with an accept or decline. Some folks are waiting on hearing from other Service Academies or civilian schools before making a decision. Some are waiting to hear back on their medical waivers.Anyone know how many has already been appointed to West Point?
@Saralee, you’ve asked essentially the same question several different ways over the past few months.

From best I can tell, OP is a mom, not a candidate, and perhaps not a native English speaker. These factors may account for some of the repeated (essentially) duplicate posts.

Thank you789Anyone know how many has already been appointed to West Point?
That is a very informed number.I think @SAorBUST was kidding and just throwing a number out there for fun as how would anyone know? I was about to post "921" but thought better of it.
Nope.I thought the answer was 42?

Nice! Well put. Agree wholeheartedly.Hang in there @Saralee. April is right around the corner. I don't think anyone can be certain of the number of appointments given so far. For what its worth, I agree with Love4monsters, these forums are supposed to be a form of support and encouragement, not mockery and ridicule. Please remember that there are members still anxiously waiting and nerves are bound to be shot. Life at the academy will help all cadets manage stress better however, there are young adults waiting to hear if their life long dream has been achieved or not. Some have been waiting for over 5 months, not to mention all the hard work they poured into their application the year prior. Many of us have the luxury of knowing what the future holds for us next year, many do not. Saralee, I hope you get your answer soon, keep your head up!

Well, that's not what I said, but I guess it could, if you don't understand the answer.
