3 year upgraded to a 4 year!!!

I've been praying for all since results came out as some dreams were realized today while others crushed. Congrats to those who were awarded or upgraded! For those who didn't receive a scholarship, chin up. There's always another way to attain that dream. Stay positive. I don't post often but lurk daily... I was awarded a 4 year on the second board but still waiting on usafa... This process just helps build character.
 
Army. NROTC does not award 3 year scholarships as part of the high school scholarship program.
 
How did you make that happen? My son got a 4-year NROTC, but only a 3-year AROTC. We didn't even know this was possible.

I didn't do anything. They simply emailed me and sent a letter via pdf. I'm assuming cadet command looks back at the oml after the 3rd board to give some remaining 4 year scholarships and I happened to get one! I'm beyond grateful
