When DoDMERb request information for remedial action do they request request or can they access information direly from candidate's insurance companies?

Insurance companies are not able to give out medical information. You will need to visit the Dr's office to obtain medical records.
 
thank you. DS's Pediatrician retired. So he gave us everything before he left
