Today I was notified I have been turned down by USNA. This means that if I receive an appointment to USMMA I will accept. Hope all works out but God has his plan.

Seems to be a lot of USNA denial today. God ALWAYS knows what is best!

That is unfortunate to have been turned down by USNA, but USMMA is a fantastic institute from what I hear and experienced on my overnight stay last year with the football team. USMMA has always been my first choice and the only academy I applied for. I'm holding out as well.
I'm so sorry to hear, but keeping fingers crossed for a USMMA appointment for you! Do you know when today your portal was updated with the notification?

My DS just got a call from our Congresswoman with his appointment today to the USMMA. He will be accepting his USAFA appointment, as it has been his dream school since middle school. I wish he could just give one of you his appointment

USMMA Admissions will reach out to the office of a candidate's nominator(s) when an appointment is made. They notify all sources if there is more than one nominatuon because they cannot be sure where the appointment will be charged until very late in the process. Wife got the call late today from our Senator today because they could not reach him while he is out of the country. He is asleep on the other side of the world and doesn’t know he has been offered an appointment to USMMA.
Still waiting to hear from USNA and USMA.

Congrats on your son's appointment to USMMA! What's your DS's first choice between USNA and USMA? My DS is also from Missouri. My DS is still on HOLD/NWL and we are still hopefull. He is a recruited Football/Lacrosse player by USMMA. I believe I saw in one of your posts that your DS was also a recruited athlete. My DS is 3Q and has three nominations. His Plan B is Marion Military Institute (MMI) SAP. He didn't apply to the other SAs. He has merit/football scholarships offers at many other regular DII/III/NAIA colleges and universities, but he is most interested in USMMA. USMMA became his first choice after his visit many months ago. Washington University in St. Louis School of Engineering and Rhodes College Engineering aslo recruitung him was high on his list in that they offered ROTC programs. Also Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, but they don't offer ROTC.
