My dd is still waiting. They asked for a new English teacher rec back in February...we have been waiting since. But, I don't see a lot of self-reported Children of Deceased or Disabled Veterans.

My son had a Children of Deceased or Disabled Veterans nomination, but I reported as "presidential." It was last year, he is class of 2022 now. Best luck to your daughter!

Same here for my DS. He's a college reapplicant with a current appointment to USMA. If it's any consolation most declines happen in the last week of March. By April 15th you will get a stautus update either way. Looks like many on this thread are in our same boat.

Does anyone know if the portal is updated before they get the TWE? My daughter is still waiting and we can't help but think that for some reason her portal just hasn't updated. It still say CPR.

I might be wrong but I thought I recall reading that the portal change triggers an email

I can only speak for my DS's situation. There was a email notice to a update to his aplication. The TWE came 7 days later.

April 15th may be the deadline to let everyone know - but every year - Offers of Appointment go out in May as well.

My son still CPR as today,mail arrived and nothing question those accepted did you get the BFE or TWE.

I only ask as next week he won’t be home a few days for school retreat and I’m worried if something comes in the mail and I will be nervous until he gets back
