Hey all!

Just an FYI...

I applied from a very competitive high school (okay...get the name: Air Academy High School) that is rather close to USAFA...six members of my HS class applied. Three were accepted to the class of 1982; three were told "uh, no thanks...maybe a prep school?"

So...three of us did just that...and busted our butts...and...

All three of us graduated with the class of 1983!

It can be done! How bad do you want it??

My DS is starting his Youngster year in a matter of days with a shipmate who made it on their 4th try. Yes, three (3) years of college and decided to start over as a Plebe.
That is the personification of grit and determination, right there. That shipmate loves it at USNA, too. An all around happy ending/beginning for someone who just wouldn't quit.
