Mother’s Day NROTC Gift Ideas

OK, this might be a silly question, but my wife has worked and sacrificed to support our DS goal of SA/NROTC and we want to get her something special for Mother’s Day. The reality of her baby leaving home is starting to sink in and he wants to thank her and show his appreciation. Does anyone know where I can find her something for Mother’s Day to celebrate her DS NROTC scholarship? Proud Naval ROTC Mom, ROTC parent or something like that.

Amazon search function: “Navy ROTC jewelry.” A nice little charm bracelet popped up in navy blue leather with small dangle medallions.

Magically, there are similar bracelets by same vendor for AROTC, AFROTC, Marine version (red) of NROTC.
 
Not sure if your unit will do this, but my son's does....we've had every opportunity to order unit NROTC gear once your DS starts school...
 
I just have to say that is such a nice thought! I’d love it if DS gave me an AFROTC something or another!

I don’t wear jewelry, but I’d proudly wear a necklace or earrings. The pendant idea for a bracelet would’ve nice too.

I’ll buy my own AFROTC Mom T-shirt though ;)

My DS and I went to Lids in the mall and had them embroider a white cap with NROTC Mom and an anchor. She loved it and smiled ear to ear.
 
For our NJROTC unit, we gave our Booster club president a beautiful and very simple necklace with a small sideways anchor, from ETSY. Very small and delicate if that is what you are looking for. I will attach the link below, but there are tons of different ones on there. Just search "anchor necklace". If you are creative, you could also include a note, like "thanks for being my anchor ...". Ok, now I'm tearing up (I'm guessing she will too!) Best of luck to your DS!

We had the opportunity to purchase polos, tshirts short and long sleeve, hoodies, sweats, shorts, quarter zips, unit NROTC flag....its been offered every semester....they change it up...colors, logos, etc....I always wear my NROTC gear to the military appreciation football game...so many compliments.
 
As already stated, input ‘Navy gear’ or shirt or whatever in your browser. You will be directed to lots of stuff.

I’m a mom. My favorite ‘loud and proud’ thing is my Navy hoodie. I also have a bangle bracelet with a navy charm, sons initial, and his birthstone. I wear both often, and usually while drinking from my ‘navy mom’ coffee cup.

Look around the internet and you will find tons. What you purchase will be specific to what she likes. A nice gift basket would be so thoughtful. Maybe even some navy Kleenex BC she will probably tear up. But there’s tons out there. My checkbook can attest to that....,
