hello, I am currently waiting for my USMA SLE decision and I know that they said all results will be out by April 15 but as I was looking at past SLE threads there were a lot of people still waiting after April 15. I have to make a decision on whether I'm going to USAFA summer seminar by April 15 and I'm not really sure what to do because by going SLE I get to save money because I live close to USMA.

Are you passionate about both? Are you familiar with both? What interests you more? And by “close”, do you mean within driving distance?
If you are interested/curious about both, and can afford USAFA, I would highly recommend USAFA BC you can visit USMA easily a different time.
Your other option would be to email and see if you can change sessions with one or the other to accommodate both.
And that all is assuming you actually receive an invite to SLE. Personally I would go with the sure thing (USAFA).

From what I have heard, the experiences are relatively the same. As justdoit said above, choose the one you're more passionate about! But if you live close to West Point, go to USAFA and then do an overnight at West Point to get the same cadet experience. Best of luck!
