When I go to the following link https://www.usna.edu/PlebeSummer/index.php and select Class of 2023, it brings up Class of 2022 dates. With the following details -

Information for the Class of 2022
Important Dates
  • Induction Day: June 28
  • Formal Parade #1: July 13
  • Formal Parade #2: July 20
  • Formal Parade #3: August 03
  • Parents Weekend: August 9-12
  • Formal Parade #4: August 11
  • Turnover Parade: August 16
  • Reform of the Brigade of Midshipmen: August 16
Are dates the same every year? Will there be a new schedule for 2023?

For Parents' Weekend it does mentions -
Plebe Parents' Weekend
Class of 2023 Parents' Weekend information coming soon.

The days — not necessarily the dates — should be about the same for I-Day, PPW and Reform. Parade days may flex more, because they’re not as critical on the calendar.

All educated guesses!

Since my husband is retired Naval Officer, we do not need a special pass for either I Day or Plebe Parent weekend correct? And we can go thru the smaller gate?

We have been able to drive on USNA with our DOD id’s when we have visited. We get teased by the gate staff when we drive onto USMA since my husband is Navy retired.

Just curious if plebes get their DOD IDs issued on I-Day or later? If they already have one, do they surrender it upon getting new one? We've yet to get PTR, which I'm sure addresses this.

They won't have a Common Access Card (CAC) on I-Day, but their photos will be taken at some point and they will get one before Plebe Parents Weekend (PPW).

Sweet Mother of God, it really never stops. Seems like just yesterday, we were having this same discussion.

Time flies ... at light speed!
