Update — LOA/No Nom

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all having a great Friday.

I was about to call the admissions office a couple of minutes ago to get an update on my admission status. Instead, I checked my portal and I saw that I received the VP nomination this morning! I’m so beyond excited. Thank you to everyone who has helped me throughout this whole LOA/No Nom process.

Now that I have an LOA and a nomination, I will receive an appointment, correct? Am I just waiting for the portal to update with a fully qualified offer of appointment?

Congrats!! Just had to be patient!! So easy to say, so hard to do. It’s a good day for you!
 
If your LOA condition was only based on getting a nomination then YES- you have met the condition your LOA will turn into an official offer of appointment! Congratulations ! I am as happy for you as I was my own DS - as I am sure many who have been following your story are- way to hang in there!

I think the portal will update with offer of appt COB today.

Not sure about VP nom, but normally they wait a few days to give nom source a chance to notify. Leave your phone ringer on - VEEPs don’t text! [emoji4]
 
That is a big step. A nom satisfies your LOA. Congrats! Hopefully it turns to a BFE shortly. Let us know when it happens!

What a great way to start a weekend! I've been checking back to see your status as well. When our 20 got his color deficiency waiver, we had no idea it was coming and it was in January. We didn't have to wait and agonize as you did. Very happy for you.
