Venezuelan Army - Made to scare U.S. Marines

Oh my gosh, I see a target rich environment and the long rushes make targeting quite easy. As the saying goes: "You can run, but you will only die tired".

Reminded of the movie "Stripes" during the group jog. "That's a fact, Jack!"

That video is going to be something 1st Lt Zambrano-Delgado regrets having done later in his career. Watching the whole thing, this is some local unit's morale video-- no mention is made of anything other than "defense of the homeland" and the "courage and valor of the Venezuelan soldier". I don't know where people are thinking it's meant to scare US Marines. We have plenty of these dumb videos on our end as well.

In a street fight, I'd put my money on the female Iranian Ninjas.

That was so corny, I need to go pick my teeth!

A Squad of 9 and 10 year old Young Marines would be a hell of a lot more scary then those Venezuelans. If they don't impale you with their bayonets, they are sure to infect you with what ever creeping crud that is inhabiting their school. Biological weapons at their finest.

Ninja? Just why? Why Ninja? Couldn't they use something historically accurate, like The Immortals or the Assassins? Jeez.....

I like the Ninjas. Bring a $50 Amazon katana to a gun fight, outstanding.
I bought one of those awhile back. I was inspired by Michone on The Walking Dead. My wife made me hide it in a closet. It literally cost just under 50 dollars.

hopefully on the odd chance the do get to throw down against actual US Marines they will have the good sense to throw down their weapons , raise arms and walk to the internment camp in an orderly, efficient, military manner

This country is a disaster. I hope we don't end up owning it. Not to get political but this was an advancing economy not that long ago before Chavez. Maggie Thatcher quote:

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

In response to the Venezuelan army's preparations to scare U.S. Marines, the U.S. Navy has ordered the USNS Comfort to the area.

"Seeing that big beautiful white red-crossed thing break the horizon will take a huge weight off my shoulders. I know Marines avoid medical like the plague, but they will thank me at the J-2 brief when they see the video," said the SOUTHCOM commander from his office in Doral, FL.

That's 894 feet and 1,000 patient beds worth of awesome, right there.
