Two questions. Do those who go to prep school need a nomination the following year? If they do, it possible for a preppie to win a MOC slate above other candidates with high stats? (It would seem they went to prep school for an academic boost but don't retake the SAT, ACT).

My DS (different prep school) had to go through the process again, but it was much easier and they get help to reapply. My DS got the principal nom from the congressman that nominated him the first time.

And he did have to retake the SAT, but did much better after being at the prep school.

@FCH76 Which prep school did he go to? I didn't realize that preppies retake the tests.

He went to USMAPS. I'm sure not everyone had to re-take it if they already had high enough scores.
