Hello all,

I am currently in the midst of my NROTC/MO application, just had my first interview, and had a question. When the Boards meet, are there quotas for scholarships for each individual region of the country or is it an overall number of scholarships they have to award?

There is an overall total number of scholarships the boards can give out, but they do not have quotas for regions of the country.
 
The majority of those scholarships will be given by the second board... which should imply to you that there are only 2 boards for Marine Option applicants.
 
The only "set" quotas would be for the Frederick C. Branch Scholarship (17 select schools) and Pedro Del Valle Leadership Scholarship (3 select schools). Other overall #s are more determined by accession needs. The previous scholarships mentioned are in addition to the normal MO scholarship process.
