JP-5 Converters Overhead - AKA Blue Angels

I am too, now. I had to greatly reduce my normal security settings, then Voila!
 
A couple of those haircuts look like west coast Marines already.

On behalf of one those newly minter Ensigns, thank you! It was the culmination of so much. Frankly, there were times when I didn't know if it was harder on him than it was on me. That beautiful day was capped off in this once in a lifetime and priceless photo for us....with him being in it.

The application process is one rollercoaster. You’re getting ready to board the next. Your DS or DD will be in the lead car. You’ll pile into one further back in the train, cheering your future mid on for a four year long ride.

And then the next rollercoaster pulls into the station, just like it did for every family member who cheered for their new Ensign or second lieutenant this past Friday...

You can say “our.” For a bit longer.
