Do they provide a link to participants of photos? They only post a handful of the summer seminar and I hate for my DS to walk away with nothing to look back on to show his work as well as just for memories. Thank you! ☺️

i am looking for pictures as well. found only few on the FB admission page. there are fun videos from today's sea trials on the usnavalacademy instragram story, only available 24 hours, and they will probably be adding more throughout the day.

Anyone out there please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember any official photo albums available for NASS when my son attended. I will promise you a gazillion photos to scour during Plebe Summer. They aren't plebes or mids yet so I wouldn't expect much. Go luck to your applicants!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this!! What fun to see the videos! I talked to DS at around 5 pm and they had just finished washing the mud out of those cotton sweatpants. So much fun to see what they were doing!!

Yep.. DS reported that the only time they have their phones/camera is when they are in their room. All I have is a shot of roomate waving and DS's bed.

WOO HOO--NASS squad leader airdropped photos to her candidates last night--I got 7 pictures of DS and his squadmates. I'm sure you'll have photos of your candidate's squad today, if you don't have them already.

Check the hashtags on Instagram and Twitter. I have found my own son in other peoples postings. You can also subscribe to them and will be notified when someone posts those hashtags.

We saw none for my DS until last night when he messaged us a few his squad leader took. He had several more today that he showed us & we are very grateful for his squad leader, whom he said was awesome. It’s a great sign that my DS left that phone in his room and enjoyed the experience. He absolutely loved everything about it.

Finally had time to talk to my Mid, who was a squad leader, about his experience. He said it was one of the most rewarding things he has done. So it’s a two way deal...your leaders also appreciate you!!

He is ramping up for session #2!!

It is so refreshing to see faces all full of hopes and dreams, before they are crushed by their first never-ending grind through the Dark Ages.
It kind of brings a tear to my eye. ;)

Yep it’s probably the coolest experience they have had to date. Some will be USNA ‘24!

Tell your son Thank You because My DD had an amazing time. I don’t know if she interacted with him at all but she loved her squad leader and had nothing but positive things to say about the leadership in general. She came home more determined than ever to apply. :)

It’s an amazing, magical place. Glad your DD had a good time. Was she tired? Did you get the mud out of her clothes? Now to hunker down and bang out those apps and noms! Good luck!

Yes, she took a very long nap yesterday afternoon and laundry is done! I have never been to USNA or Annapolis but my DD has been fortunate enough to attend one of their STEM camps, a CVW and now NASS. Every time she comes home after a visit, it takes a few days for her feet to touch the ground so it must be quite magical. She has to attend an officer camp for the next few days (dance team) then Girl's State and after that she plans to focus on her application and improving her CFA. I am trying to prepare myself mentally for the roller coaster ride this next year. :)

Dropped my son at session#2 yesterday! Super excited for him!

My DS and I saw all pictures in the NASS website. All looks great! It must motivate candidates all!

My DS is joining the Session 3 so it’s just a few days away! What a great activity for the future leaders!
