Nah, that wasn't pointed at anyone, and apologize if you thought I was directing that at you. I was advising the parents of the NC's (in a couple of weeks!) that sticking around til the doors close is expected and to depart prior to that is viewed as disrespectful. Pretty sure that there are signs that ask that you stay until the last NC has left the Plain. It can't be any hotter than it was last year, right? Hard to believe we have a year behind us, R day seems like it was yesterday!

It was pretty hot! Guess I’d rather have that then a downpour! My DD had AA1 and so for that’s the only

DD says that all in all it wasn't as bad as she thought, though she certainly had some rough times. She also had AA1 and heads back next week. What company is your DD ?

Either type of sock is fine...they will be changing into the low quarters with PT uniform fairly quickly. No one can tell the diff between the athletic and the dress socks.
Trust me. No one is looking at their ankles--unless the sneakers are neon yellow or pink--in which case, you better be the new star of the track team...if you are that fast, you can wear whatever athletic shoes you like.
