Im headed to Session 1 soon and just reiterating what I have heard what to pack. I would hate to pack the wrong things and get smoked for not bringing something important.

Forms-
Passport
Standard Release Form
DD-1351-2(2 copies)(Initial Travel Voucher)
DTS Receipt Cover Page(Receipt for flight)
DOD Travel Authorization(5 copies)

Clothes-
1 set of civilian attire

Electronics-
Phone
Phone charger

Misc.-
Bookbag

Is there anything else I could be missing? I understand different people receive different instructions from different chain of commands so if you were told to bring something that you think might be helpful, definitely let me know!

Your list is more in depth than any info we've been given. We still have not even received flight info for session 1 (5 days away)! This is all we were told to bring:

- a small bag with one day worth of clothes plus toiletries / medications (the bag of clothes is taken away after uniforms are issued and given back at the end)
- bring glasses that can be worn all day since apparently contacts won't be allowed for certain activities
Everything else needed for training will be issued.

I think phones are taken away the whole time too.

Where did you get the info to bring all the other forms and passport? The only form we were told was the physical release form.

Here's what we got today:

Guidance for packing was reinforced to me with the message that follows:

“All they will need is a small bag with one day worth of clothes and toiletries. Make sure they bring any glasses, medications, etc. that they will need during training. They will turn in this bag when they get their uniform/gear issue and get it back after graduation. Everything else they will need for training will be issued to them. If they have contacts, they will be required to remove them for certain evolutions, and thus, it is highly desired for them to bring a set of glasses that they can wear all day.”

In addition to this make sure you have approximately $200 available to you in the form of a debit card or prepaid cash card. It is not recommended to take cash because losing a wad of cash is going to be worse than misplacing a debit card that can easily be cancelled. Remember to take a set of tennis shoes as well. Everything beyond what you arrive with will be provide for you.
