Class of '24 portal?

Hello! I'm getting ready to apply for the service academies and I was wondering when the USMA candidate portal would open for the class of 2024. I found out that USAFA has begun to open their portals to some candidates and I was just wondering when USMA would open their portal up. Also, is it true that the kids who went to SLE would be the first ones to have their portals opened?

Hi. I'm applying to 2024 too. My regional commander said the full application will open in mid to late summer. The candidate portal right now also says evaluations won't begin until 01 AUG at earliest. I'm not certain it would be exactly on 01 AUG; the wording shows that it could be later. I hope it opens sooner though.

It is suppose to open Aug 1 and those that went to SLE do not have any head start over those that didn't attend

DS just filled out candidate questionnaire and received login info for portal, but complete app isn’t open. There’s a letter there which gives instructions on next steps, including sending in test scores and transcript, but he isn’t sure how they want transcript sent. Anyone know or does he just wait for complete app to open?

From what we understood from regional rep, we (the school) sent a copy to the address in pic, attn to our admissions’ region. I had also read here to make sure everything has the candidate # on it. Also, transcripts can be sent from Parchment or straight from school per the admissions office. They received it last (according to tracking) Monday but nothing shows anything different on portal; not sure it will. Test scores should be sent from ACT/SAT using the USMA school code. You can order and pay online or for free when you sign up for test. Takes a couple of weeks. Hope this helps. We’re doing the waiting game, too.
