My DH and DD are on the road to CT. They’ll stop over with Granddad tonight and then on to USCGA tomorrow. She is excited and nervous, as I guess you should be. Good luck to all Aimsters! I hope they have a great week.

My wife and I dropped our daughter off this afternoon. Good luck to your daughter and all the other AIMsters this summer!

For those that don't know, there is a man named Paul Duddy who takes pictures at all different events at the CGA. PM me for details and the link to his page of pictures.

Dropped my youngest son off today. My wife, myself and one of my other sons are staying here for the week and having a nice break!

Find PDuddy on Facebook for pictures of your kiddos! He is a Godsend to parents.

Paul Duddy (FB pduddy pics) is indeed a Godsend and offers a unique view into academy life. The majority of my photos of DS and his shipmates over the four years were due to Paul's efforts. Paul is a volunteer photographer and sharing academy life through his lens is his passion.

Reporting in from CGA - the AIMsters are doing great! Watching their transformation from individuals to a cohesive platoon is so exciting to see. Today and tomorrow's activities include sailing, visits to the gun range, and 4 Engineering challenges. You don't want to miss graduation! See you Friday :)

You have to have 5 posts in order to use PM.

My daughter was there last year for AIM, is there a chance he'd have pictures still?

He has tons of albums on his Facebook page. As far as I know, he never deletes them, so I'd say there's a great chance. Very possible you'll have to scroll through the albums for quite awhile before finding them, though...

Got to admit I shed a tear or two today at the graduation ceremony for the Week 1 Aimsters. When Rear Admiral Kelly got them all to stand and recite the mission of the Coast Guard it gave me goose bumps!

What a week for all of the AIMsters! The graduation was great. Very moving - I had goosebumps too.

That's nice. Can I get his details and link as trying to see if we can get some pictures from our son's AIM week? (anandss@yahoo.com) Thank you!
