Time to head out to pre-game fun. DH is sporting his new UA polo, pic attached.

To orient, that is the back of a polo shirt, white chest and shoulders, blue and gold herringbone print below - but - cool text going vertically down from below the collar back edge with the lat-long!

Even cooler. No, hadn’t verified it yet with my handy app, so will explore further when I have a chance.

I think it was moved for a period to Newport at the start of the Civil War. So the coordinates are correct I think for the 1st location ... I need to do more research.

@Capt MJ .... Did you guys check the Lat-Long? Was the 1st Naval Academy location in Newport RI?
.
The first USNA location was NOT in Newport, that was the wartime relocation and the building is still standing. The original USNA location was at Fort Severn in Annapolis.

Yep. I just read up on the history .... And we are familiar with the Newport area and the building as well... Daughter is at NAPS right now.

Coach Ken was wearing a shirt with this on the back today.

It’s this year’s theme for Navy sports gear from UA. Changes every year.

Those coordinates are:
Stribling Walk, Anne Arundel County, MD 21411, United States of America
Latitude: 38.982066 | Longitude: -76.483941

I figured it had to be Memorial Hall in Bancroft, the Chapel Dome or Tecumseh.
Thank you!
