What were you most surprised about daily life at the Academy? Or did you know exactly what you were going into.

No civilian ends up joining "the military" that they thought they were joining. It is a real shock to some people, because all that they know is what they see in movies or on TV. You're going to want to start running, if you haven't already. A lot.

the relationship between upperclass and plebes was not what I expected because it’s more formal and professional than I thought, which is stressful.
